Snuggle Fresh Spring Flowers

Bluetooth Earphone Review

I enjoy being able to listen to music on the go, but the headphones included with my phone are far from my favorite things to use.  Plastic and contoured differently than is comfortable to my ears, and with the cord I constantly seem to get tangled in somehow, I was open to a new option.  I found the solution in the Silicon Devices COMFORT+ Bluetooth Earphones.

I had to learn the buttons, as I did not realize the power button was on the side, not the top.  The instructions that come with the headphones are not very specific as far as powering up and especially not when it comes to assembling ear pieces and directional wearing.  So, I had to muddle through this stuff and look at pictures online to figure out how to get them to fit well.  Once in and working, a voice will tell you that the headphones are on, turning off, out of range of the source, switching tracks and using the phone.  But once I did, I found them easy to use and have been happy since.

Carpet Stain Remover Review

A dog in the house often means accidents and the inevitable stain or smell that comes with having and accident.  I have tried many products over the years to remove the odors from pet accidents, and more often than not, have been disappointed.  

Carpet AfterLife has an enzyme based commercial strength cleaner available that I recently put to work in my home.

I followed the normal procedure of removing anything off the carpet/floor first and then blotting with a clean white towel to absorb as much liquid as I could.  I then sprayed on the stain remover, scrubbed it in a little with my fingers and walked away.  When I returned later, the spot was gone, the smell from the accident and the cleaner was gone, and all that was left was a clean spot.  Of course, I used this on only fresh spots so far, so I can only speak to the spot removing ability in that situation, but feel comfortable in believing it would do good on any stains that have set in, probably with a couple of repeat applications.

This will definitely stay in my cleaning supply arsenal!

Set up was a breeze.  Simply removed sticker backing and place on the mattress.  Then, plug in.  Once the app is downloaded, there is a little set-up (2 minutes) and then you are set to begin monitoring sleep.  While in use, the Beddit system measures heart rate, respiration, sleep cycles and total sleep time.  With nothing to wear, the system talks to the mobile phone wirelessly.  Alarm options are included in the app as well, and offer soothing sound choices instead of blaring alarm sounds.  Upon waking after using the system, one simply tells the phone to stop monitoring and the score is revealed along with your statistics for the night and sleep tips for improvement.  

I have used the Beddit system for two weeks now, and have learned that I am sleeping worse than I thought.  I have an infant, so solid sleep is not going to happen, I know, but I was shocked to find a score of 35 one night. Dearfoams Slippers

I just love these slippers!  I didn't realize slippers were in demand for spring weather, but I am so pleased with the sandal style slippers I got to keep.  They are super soft and comfortable against my foot, but also have a solid sole that I can trust for walking outside if I wish.
