Shandali Travel Towel Review

I had the chance to try the #1 Rated Travel Towel by Shandali.  This microfiber towel has so many possibilities!

I first put my towel to use during a yoga session.  The towel worked great at absorbing moisture and getting me dry quickly.  It is the perfect companion to the yoga towel sold by the same company.  I loved how soft the towel was, how well it dried and how quickly it air dried as well.
Easy to wash, it comes out looking great.  Easy to dry, just hang it on the hook and walk away - it will be ready when you need it again.
This lightweight microfiber towel has so many possibilities for use!  Camping, the beach, traveling, boating, pretty much anything you can come up with - even washing the car.  So thin, it easily packs in with whatever gear you need for your next adventure and will be ready to perform when needed.  I'll be adding more of these to my linen closet.  We have especially loved it for pool days, and it takes up so much less space than a beach towel but dries better.

As an added bonus, this towel comes with a hassle free money back guarantee within the first 30 days of use.  How can you go wrong?

Shandali Yoga Towel Review

I had the opportunity to try out the #1 Rated Hot Yoga Towel from Shandali.  This towel is designed to add safety to Yoga sessions, keeping the mat dry and removing the risk of slipping  Claimed to extend the life of a yoga mat, it creates a hygienic layer between user and mat.  It is thin enough to roll right up with the mat for easy transport as well.

I was pleased to find the towel actually fit over my mat well, with room to spare on each side, so that my mat was truly covered.  I was also very happy to find it performed very well!  It stayed in place throughout my Yoga session and kept my mat clean and dry.  Even better, it kept me from slipping around.  This towel is very absorbent and quick drying.  I just hung it up and walked away until i needed it again, and it was ready to go.

Easy to wash, it comes out looking great.  These lightweight towels are versatile too - they can be used for so much more than Yoga.  The beach, camping, traveling, washing the car, boating, you name it.
Covered by a no hassle money back guarantee, you can try it out for 30 days at no risk!  Worth the purchase to me, I will be keeping this towel and maybe even buying more for other uses around my house. This is a quality product. You can get your own here!

Bible Study for Busy Mamas: Thirty Days in 1 Corinthians 13

Bible Study for Busy Mamas: Thirty Days in 1 Corinthians 13
by Pam Forster

The job of being Mommy is fulfilling yet filled with so much action and busyness that it is often difficult to find those deeply needed moments alone to refresh and refuel.  Finding time for God can be a big struggle for any person, let alone the woman with infants, toddlers and preschoolers filling life with activity and chaos.  Enter Pam Forster's Bible study series "Bible Study for Busy Mamas".

I have been so blessed by having the opportunity to read this book.  In just small snippets each day, or whenever the time can be carved out, moms can study the entire chapter of 1 Corinthians 13 in depth and walk away feeling proud and with a much deeper understanding of Love as Christ would have us love, which all moms need.

Each "Day", the reader is given a small task, starting with reading the entire chapter and proceeding into word studies and greater understanding a small bit at a time, with direct and easily understood guidance.  In as little as 5 minutes, these study sections can be completed.  For even greater benefit, this book has a section in each day with a way to involve the children!  I absolutely loved this - it acknowledges the entire reason moms need a study like this, the little ones.  There are simple things kids can do to learn the chapter along with mom, from hands on and physical to discussion, easy enough to involve even the toddlers in the house to some extent.

A fantastic book to be used in a group Bible study or small group, this study does not disappoint.  After having read this book, I am eager to dive into more of the studies by this author and grow in my relationship with my children and my God.  I very highly recommend this book to every mom!

Custom White Vinyl Stickers Review + Giveaway

These stickers are so cool!
I opted to customize all of my stickers, and it was very easy to do. It is as simple as choosing the size, shape and quantity and then opting to customize or use already created templates.  I absolutely love the results, and they look just as they did on my computer screen, so no surprises once they arrived in the mail.

Easy to peel off, they do not rip or tear.  Easy to apply and re-apply if you don't get it right the first time. Claimed to have longevity and last long in the dishwasher, washer/dryer, and be weather resistant, there are so many ways to use them.  With kids, I have lots of things that need labels, so we tried ours out on snack cups and water bottles.  Each have gone through the dishwasher several times, been dropped in the dirt and used heavily by kids and still they stick and look great.
I would definitely recommend these to parents especially, but anyone with a labeling need.  So many fun possibilities!

And I get to give a set away!  Comment below where or how you would use these labels if you win and you just might.  Winner to be selected July 28, 2014.

Australian Tea Tree Oil Review

Fairly new to the world of using essential oils, I jumped at the opportunity to review 100% Pure Australian Tea Tree Oil.  I am so in love with this stuff!

There are so many uses for Tea Tree Oil:

For health applications, it can be used to treat acne, act as an anti-fungal, an antiseptic, and and anti-viral.  It can treat head lice, sinus infections, dry skin, sunburns, bug bites and be used as aromatherapy.  It can also be used for cleaning!  It makes a great addition multi-purpose cleaner, helps control mold, and has a great smell for use with laundry as well.
I have been making a multipurpose cleaner for some time with vinegar and water.  The addition of the Tea Tree Oil has given it a much more pleasant smell as well as added the benefits of anti-viral, anti-fungal properties.  I have a renewed love for using this natural cleaner now.
My next step will be to put this wonderful product to use in making a skin remedy for my daughter's excema.
The Tea Tree Oil comes n a 4oz bottle, which is claimed to last for a year even with regular use, and a deal for $19.99 at Amazon.com

Dr. Carey's Baby Care: First Year Baby Care Guide book & 2 Dr. Carey Swaddling Blankets! Review and Giveaway

On my third attempt at caring for a newborn, with my baby just born in the past couple of months, I was excited to have the opportunity to review these products.  Yes, it is my third time, and so some things have become instinctual or learned over the past two experiences.  However, I am always on Google to find answers in the first few months because those little rashes, bumps, coughs, etc. always pop up and make even an experienced Mommy nervous.

I loved how the book explained, with pictures and in language a tired mom can understand, the little things about new babies, like why they have the reflexes they do.  This book goes beyond basics and teaches as well as informs.  I really like the photos, especially when it came to the section on rashes.  Most of the things I would look for on Google is now right in my hands in a nice little reference book.

Dr. Carey Chronis, MD, who wrote this book, is a dad and pediatrician, which makes him an expert in my book.  His book includes lots of information about a baby's first year, including over 120 pictures and addresses topics such as:
- Developmental Milestones
- Newborn Rashes Explained
- Baby Care That Should Be Discussed
- Handling Minor Medical Problems
- Commonly Asked Medical Questions

This is definitely a resource I wish I'd had with my first baby and one I will highly recommend to my new mommy friends.

In addition to receiving the book, I also received two swaddling blankets.  They are very soft, bright and colorful!  Longer than many receiving blankets, they provide extra room for longer babies.  However, they are basic rectangle blankets that the user needs to know how to use in order to have them act as a swaddle.  For the tiny babies who lay still, these are great.  As my baby has gotten older and moves around more, they are not as effective in keeping the baby swaddled.

You can find a lot more on Dr. Carey's website!
