TriNova Stainless Steel Cleaner and Polish, 16oz

TriNova Stainless Steel Cleaner and Polish

In my home, all of the kitchen appliances are stainless steel.  In my home, there are also a lot of young children as well as multiple adults who use the appliances daily,  It is a constant struggle to keep them clean.  I have tried many different avenues to accomplish this task, and a recent one I have had the opportunity to try has done a fantastic job of wiping the prints and grime off.

The Stainless Steel Cleaner & Polish by TriNova comes shipped in a plastic bag with the bottle capped and the sprayer separate to eliminate leaks.  Installing the sprayer is a simple as unscrewing the lid and screwing the sprayer on.

The cleaner also comes with a soft, two sided microfiber cloth.  One side is for cleaning, the other is for buffing and polishing.  The cloth is generously sized, think and of great quality, this is not a cheapy piece of fabric.

This cleaner sprays on as a white liquid, which has a pleasant smell.  It lifts prints away right away and also easily cleans off whatever the kids may have left behind on the handles and other surfaces. Once the surface has been cleaned, it is easy to flip the cloth over and use the other side to polish and buff the surface back to the shiny clean intended.

I didn't notice any residue left behind once I had finished cleaning.  I never had to fuss with streaks either, it just wiped on smooth and came off just as easily.  The surfaces seem to stay nice looking for an acceptable stretch of time.  Claimed to repel fingerprints and dust, I would agree that it does work at keeping the surface looking clean longer, though I have never compared this with other products to verify this claim against others.

A little goes a long way, so this 16oz bottle will last quite a while!  However, when I do run out, TriNova's Stainless Steel Cleaner & Polish will be at the top of my list.

All Powercore Pacs Review

I love the convenience of these little packets. Just toss on in the drum of the washing machine, add clothes no start the cycle. No more measuring liquids or powders, it is all pre-measured and combined in one little package. Powder and liquid together in a soft pack.

It is a little larger than other products I have used from other brands in that the soaps are side by side, separated by a thin skin instead is packed on top of one another. A different look, same function.

I liked the fresh smell when the clothes came out of the wash and dryer. It helped to address some odors other soaps had not cleaned away. However, I have found a residue that is the clear packaging after each wash. It is supposed to completely dissolve, but I keep finding a jellified wad at the edge of the door after each wash cycle. It makes me wonder what else might be clinging to my clothes instead of rinsing away. Or what damage it might do to my machine over time if this stuff builds up where I do not see it. I want to like them more, but those things leave me hesitant to purchase any more.

Pet Stain and Odor Remover Review

A new dog in the house often means accidents and the inevitable stain or smell that comes with having and accident.  I have tried many products over the years to remove the odors from pet accidents, and more often than not, have been disappointed.

Trinova has an enzyme based cleaner available that I recently put to work in my home.
It comes packaged in a plastic bag, with sprayer disconnected for protection during shipping and to prevent leaks.
There is also a foil seal in place under the screw-on cap.  When those are removed, you will find a slightly soapy appearing liquid of a slight yellow hue within the bottle.  The smell is pleasant as well.
The sprayer simply screws onto the neck of the bottle and you are ready to go after those messes, stains and odors!
I had opportunity to try out this spray on urine, vomit and feces and was happy with the results each time.  I was first and foremost thrilled with the smell.  I find the harsh chemical smell off-putting as well as feel unsafe using products with such smells around my family and pets.  This has a pleasant smell, somewhat natural in scent, but not perfumey or chemical.  After dry, the smell is gone, which I also love.

I followed the normal procedure of removing anything off the carpet/floor first and then blotting with a clean white towel to absorb as much liquid as I could.  I then sprayed on the stain remover, scrubbed it in a little with my fingers and walked away.  When I returned later, the spot was gone, the smell from the accident and the cleaner was gone, and all that was left was a clean spot.  Of course, I used this on only fresh spots so far, so I can only speak to the spot removing ability in that situation, but feel comfortable in believing it would do good on any stains that have set in, probably with a couple of repeat applications.

This will definitely stay in my cleaning supply arsenal!

Greenwald's Carpet and Fabric Stain Remover Kit

With kids and pets, it seems there is always some spot or stain that needs to be cleaned on my carpet or furniture.  This new product sure has come in handy.
Greenwald's Carpet & Fabric Stain Remover Kit is a convenient way to get multiple spray bottles worth of product at a fraction of the cost and with less waste.  The product ships in a box that contains an empty spray bottle and a package with 6 water soluble packs that contain the concentrated cleaning solution.
These cleaning solution packs are quite small, very soft and flexible.  To make the cleaner, one simply drops a packet into the bottle and fills the bottle with water.  I love that the concentrate is so small and easy to store, not large re-fill bottles to hang onto or wasted containers when the cleaner is gone.
Once the packet touches the water, it begins to break down.  After a minute has passed, the user simply needs to shake the bottle (with sprayer attached) and the cleaner is ready to use.
I got a chance (unfortunately) to put this cleaner to work pretty quickly.  A bowl of cereal complete with milk spilled all over my newly upholstered dining chairs.  I simply sprayed this lightly citrus scented cleaner on the fabric, after blotting up as much as I could of the spill, and walked away.  When I returned a while later, the cleaner had dried, there was no indication of a spill on the chair (no water marks or other spots) and no smell either.
I have no doubt this cleaner will get plenty of use at our house in the coming days, and love that when I run out I can easily make more.

This cleaner has two options for mixing to address cleaning needs.  With one packet dissolved in the bottle, it is prepared to handle fabrics.  Two packets dissolved make it carpet ready.  My one complaint is that it isn't really dual use in this capacity.  No doubt it will still work on carpet in the lighter concentration, however, I cannot speak to comparing the two strengths as I only have one bottle with which to mix and dispense them at this time.

If I could change one thing:  I would re-word the directions.  It starts out directing you to dissolve two packets and goes through instructions for doing so.  Once that is complete then the directions address dissolving only one for fabrics.  I would rather it have the two options (for fabrics or for carpets) in bold with the instructions for mixing them to follow.  In this way, the user would more clearly understand what to mix for their needs.

These things aside, I like this cleaner so far, have no aversion to the scent, and intend to get months of use out of this single purchase, and am glad to have the option to do so!
