The Love Bamboo Tea Tumbler Thermos with Infuser

The Love Bamboo Tea Tumbler Thermos with Infuse
By Sacred Love

Buy it on Amazon

I like the look of this bottle, and the fact that it comes with a removable loose tea/fruit basket.
T

The stainless interior makes it safe and sanitary while helping to maintain temperatures for long times.  The lid screws on, meaning you can sip or take big drinks at your will, not that of a lid's opening or straw.  This also means it can tip without worry of spill.
I was a bit in question of all the fancy packaging for a bottle that has specifically gone the way of bamboo for the exterior doe to it being sustainable.  This item came in a shopping box, then in a cardboard tube which then had foam padding followed by plastic wrap before I ever got to the bottle itself.  A lot of wasted stuff there.  Great for a gift, I guess, it looks nice, but it seemed over the top.  I also have reservations about washing it because of all the warnings directing users to not submerse or soak the outside as it will wreck the bamboo shell.  Makes it a little more challenging to clean thoroughly when you can't dishwash or soak it.
This bottle gets high marks for function and appearance otherwise, and I have gotten plenty of .
compliments

BYB LED Flashlight Review

A good, reliable flashlight is important for me to have on hand.  I especially like to have them available in my vehicle in addition to my home.  I used to carry around those big bulky  three D-cell battery requiring flashlights, but the batteries never last or corrode long before I even use the light enough.  Enter the new era and the CREE LED flashlight.  I found this one and grabbed it up for the intent of keeping it in my van to replace my old, no-longer functioning bulky light.
This light come with a re-chargeable battery included as well as a wall charger, so no more buying and tossing batteries regularly.
The battery is easily accessed by twisting off the back of the light, exposing the Li-ion battery which easily slides out.
The battery fits easily into the charger by simply pressing the back end into one side and sliding it down until the top snaps in place.
Once the battery is installed in the charger, simply plug in and walk away.  The charger notifies the user it is working with a red LED light.
The flashlight itself is bright, with 5 light settings: high, medium, low, strobe and SOS.  Each setting is switched to by pressing the back button once, cycling through the settings to get to the one desired.
The flashlights case is a lightweight aluminum, the on/off button is a rubber press button located on the end of the flashlight.
This light is compact, easily fitting into my hand.  The light is easy to use, tucks neatly inside my vehicle for quick use if needed and is handy to have around.

Fnova Class 2 Reflective Vest and Armband Safety Gear

I have a safety vest I wear for my crossing guard duty, but it is a velcro closure that is quickly fraying and rarely stays secured after only a few months of use.  When I saw this vest, I knew I would like it because of the zipper option instead of velcro.

This safety vest comes simply packaged, ready to go straight from the package.  ANSI and ISEA approved, it is ready for most jobs.
It also included two reflective elastic armbands for added visibility.
The arm bands are stretchy enough to slide onto my arm, even over my winter coat, without the need to un-fasten them. But, if it is desired, they simply velcro together and can be adjusted easily.
The vests come sized.  I chose a medium.  I was a little nervous to get the small size because I know that most often I wear it over a coat of some type, but other reviews and measurements from the seller led me to believe it would be just fine.  It is.  I have plenty of room in this vest to wear it with my winter coat, but I do not swim in it if I am only wearing a t-shirt.
The vest zips closed easily and quickly.  All ends are secured and of high quality.  The vest is trimmed in a black mesh to keep the vest material from fraying.  An added bonus is that the vest is washable.
Stripes on the vest, which go around the torso at two different heights as well as over the shoulders, are very reflective and and visibility in addition to the super bright yellow.

I am very pleased with this vest, much more so than my velcro closure vest.  It fits well, is breathable, highly visible, lightweight and convenient to use.
I have plenty of room to play around with for varied seasons and am glad I chose to stick with measurement indications instead of playing it safe and going up a size.

Collapsible Travel Dog Bowls Review

Traveling with a pet means more gear to pack. Any time I can find a way to condense and save on space, I am interested. So, when I saw these collapsible pet food bowls I knew I needed them.
In red and blue, these bowls can adjust to two depths just by unfolding them a little or all the way.
They are more than sufficient for holding food and water for a small dog like mine (a yorkie).
I can fit a day's worth of food in one bowl, use the other for water, and travel knowing I don't have to either find something suitable at my destination or hope what I brought doesn't get broken on the way.

Made of silicon, these are much better than the lined fabric versions I own that eventually leak water and fold upon themselves, making eating or drinking a pain. I love that they also have caribibers attached, which makes them great for hooking to a bag or pocket for walks/hikes or day outings.
I just love these bowls. Definitely not for larger dogs, except for a quick drink maybe, they are great for the toy and small breeds though.

PURGGO Car Air Freshener Review

I am not a big fan of scented car air fresheners.  The never last, there are very few scents I actually like, they are so overpowering at first and then not noticeable after just days...  They just don't seem worth it to me.  But, I wanted something for my car to address the pent up winter/wet car smells that accumulate in the cold weather months.  When I came across the opportunity to try this bamboo charcoal air freshener from Purggo, I took it.
Right away, I was impressed with this product.  It comes packaged so simply yet attractively.  With a sleeve just big enough to house the item and no overkill, it simply and easily explains how to use the product without added inserts and wasted paper.
Once removed from the package, one finds a simple dark gray pillow of sorts with a blue cord handle.
The cord is well secured to the air freshener by webbed straps sewn onto the back of the product.
These cords, for hanging the air freshener on the car seat headrest, are easily adjustable simply by sliding the cord.
Installation is simple.  Just slip the cord over top of the vehicle headrest in whichever seat location you choose and slide the knots along the cord to adjust the length at which it hangs.  I opted to remove my headrest and slide the cord through the seat handle and then over the headrest posts to make leave the entry handle accessible.
Once in place, the air freshener is pretty much out of the way and not really noticeable unless you look for it.  I t does really seem to work. Of course, that can't be proven, but I do not notice the closed up winter car smell I had been noting, so i believe it is doing what it is designed to.
What I love about this air freshener:
- the pouch is filled with bamboo charcoal, a natural odor absorber
- there is no scent that comes from the air freshener.  No perfumey smell to cover over odors,
- it is easy to use
- it lasts for 365+ days.  Directions suggest placing it out in the sunshine occasionally to help dry out any moisture it might absorb.  Aside from that, there is no maintenance, and it lasts for a whole year!

I am very pleased with this product and definitely recommend it.

Hanging Toiletry Bag Review

As spring draws near, my anticipation for vacations is growing.  After adding packing cubes to my luggage set last year, I was on the lookout for a good toiletry bag.  I am currently giving this one a try.

The Jagurds hanging toiletry bag is a nice, compact bag made of a smooth vinyl that is easily wiped.
The bag opens up and folds open to reveal flat inner panels.
Those inner panels open out to expose the full internal parts of the bag.
This bag has a durable hook for hanging.
The strap sewn to the hanger is stitched securely and made of strong material to hold weight.  The opened bag reveals 4 main compartments.
The top compartment is comprised of two smaller separated pouches connected by one zipper. It is a flat compartment.
The second compartment opens out to hold as much as the depth of the pocket will contain.  There is a lot of room in this pocket, and it zips open on three sides to allow full access.
The third compartment is a large, expandable pocket with a zipper across the top.  It also will hold a lot, but is only accessible from the top.
The bottom compartment is able to completely zip off.  The zipper is a bit difficult to undo and re-assemble once unzipped, but aside from that, it is a small flat zippered pouch.
My current toiletry bag is just a larger bag that everything is tossed into, so I was excited to have something with pockets and some organization.  I  took everything from my current bag and put it into the new bag - this included stuff for myself, my husband and three girls, so probably a lot more than was intended.  Everything I put into the bag was travel sized with the exception of hairbrushes and combs.
With a little bit of shifting of bottles and other items, I was able to fit everything into the bag and close all of the internal zippers with no strain or struggle.  However, when I went to close the bag fully, I found it was not as big as I had hoped.  I realize I asked a lot from it with a full family's supplies in it, so I was not surprised.
However, with a bit of extra shifting and some cautious zipping, I was able to fully close the bag without removing anything.
I will re-assess contents or consider a second small bag when it comes time to travel, but overall, I am quite pleased with the capacity, strength and durability of this bag!
