Stainless Steel Travel Mug Review

Cold weather means an increase in warm drinks for our household.  While we have several plastic travel mugs, I am less and less thrilled with the idea of drinking hot beverages from a plastic cup.  When I found these stainless steel travel mugs in a set of 2, I picked them up.
These 16oz, double wall insulated, 18/8 stainless steel travel mugs have a BPA free lid that vacuum seals.  The exterior of the mug is cool to the touch, even with hot liquids inside for an extended period of time.

The lid has a leak-proof stopper that opens easily when one wants to drink, and quickly snaps closed again when not in use.

The handle sticks out rather far, which at first annoyed me a little, but I found it rather nice when I put it into my cup holders and found it clears the  edges and makes picking it up much easier than other close-handled mugs I own.
I am very pleased with these mugs!  I love the stainless steel, which I trust so much more than plastic for my hot beverages, and they definitely keep my drink warm for much longer.  The lid doesn't pop off easily, like some I have owned, and spills just don't happen unless the lid is open.  They are solid, durable, and can take a beating or repeated dropping.  Stylish and trendy, they are appealing in look and function.
