Sprout's Cold Remedy Review

I am a big fan of treating things naturally as much as possible, avoiding extra chemicals and medications unless necessary.  On this path, I came across Sprout's Cold Remedy.
This liquid herbal supplement is loaded with good stuff to help aid in fighting off cold symptoms and restoring your health and well being.  The all-natural ingredients include:
Echinacea purpuera Herb
- Red Root
- Green Tea Leaf
- Elderberry Fruit
- Thyme Herb
- Red Clover Herb
- Myrrh Gum

This product is a brown liquid with a slightly oily consistency.  To use it, simply place a dropper full (directions ask for 25 drops, which I tested out to be a dropper full) into a glass of water and drink one to two times a day.
While I am a fan of essential oils and natural remedies, I am also a bit skeptical of something new until I see it really working.  So, I was hopeful but not a full believer.  However, with colds floating around my house, I was determined to give it a fair shot and began taking it with the first hint of sniffles.  A week later, I have not developed any cold symptoms such as cough, sore throat, congestion or sinus issues like my husband and children have.  At my suggestion, my highly skeptical husband gave it  at try and is on the mend much faster than he normally is, and has even found himself admitting he believes it has played a hand in helping him feel better faster..

Taste was my biggest fear, and I found it to be so negligible that it was a moot point for me.  What little I could taste reminded me of an herbal tea, so it was not big deal anyway.  My husband, who is much less tolerant of herbal tastes, also found it no big deal and hardly noticeable.

I will definitely be keeping this product on hand and am a new fan!
